Cricket Auction Simulation | Budgeting, Strategy & Negotiation Under Pressure
Cricket Auction Simulation is a high-energy, IPL-style team simulation where teams become franchise owners and bid for players in a live auction — turning budgeting, prioritisation, negotiation and decision-making under pressure into the loudest, most competitive session of the year.
Each team gets a fixed purse and a strategy. As 70 players roll across the block, they have to read value, hold their nerve, out-negotiate rivals and build a balanced squad before the money runs out — every call made in real time, in front of the room. The cricket theme is what makes it roar; the debrief lands it squarely on how your people budget, prioritise and decide at work.
What your people walk away with
- Strategic planning under a hard budget constraint
- Prioritisation & resource allocation when you can’t have everything
- Negotiation and decision-making under time pressure and uncertainty
- Team communication, role clarity and leadership in the heat of a live event
- Competitive awareness — reading rivals and adapting the plan on the fly
